Cosmetically this pedal is a bit rough-looking. Lots of paint chipping and dings. Missing back label, feet, and battery compartment cover. THere is a DC power jack, so the missing battery cover isn't a huge issue. Has an unusual switch that gives it a soft feel. Missing feet cause the pedal to rock when you switch it on/off. I've added some new feet that should solve that problem, or you can pick some up at Home Depot or other hardware store. The good news is that this pedal uses the MN3005 bucket brigade chip made famous in other analog delays such as the EHX Memory Man and several pedals from Boss and Ibanez among others. The circuit is very similar to some of the Boss and Ibanez MN3005 circuits, just a lesser-known brand, MIJ. The "AD9" in its name makes me wonder about a relationship with Ibanez and its well-known AD9 delay. It sounds much the same as those Boss and Ibanez MN3005 pedals. This is a cheap way to try out that old analog delay sound if you've passed it by. This one has obviously been used a good deal. I haven't done anything to it other than listen to it and check out the circuit, so I can't really say much more about its operating condition other than it works. Seems heavily built.
